Where Are We?

Ravenstonedale is just ten minutes from junction 38 of the M6, 5 miles south-west of Kirkby Stephen and only 20 miles from Kendal - the ‘gateway to the Lakes’. From junction 38 follow the A685 towards Brough, turning right into Ravenstonedale after about 8 miles. Follow signs to the village and the Black Swan. High Chapel House is located on your right hand side on the brow of the hill as you follow the road past the Black Swan and out of the village towards Sedbergh.
